Concept
Concept is a board game created by Alain Rivollet and Gaëtan Beaujannot, published by Repos Production. Players make others guess words or phrases using a board of universal icons (colours, shapes, categories, emotions...), placing pawns to build chains of association without ever speaking. The game won the Jeu de l'Année award in Cannes in 2014, and has grown with the La Recharge expansion and Concept Kids: Animals for younger players.
Concept is played entirely without a word: everything goes through placing pawns on a board of universal icons.
